But it wasn't until Oct 2019 that I fully embarked into this deeper exploration of the three brains and how we can practically use this knowledge in our daily life (teaching, living , embodying a sense of harmony within). I first began to apply myself to what I had discovered in my Tepp Facilitator training with Philip Sheperd (author of "Radical Wholeness" & "New Self, New World" books). One basic tool of practicing this embodiment was to BE AWARE of how we simply tend to stay focused within our first brain (most of the time) due to our cultural conditioning, and how sometimes we do enjoy travelling between first brain anf third brain in the heart as we practice yoga and meditation...and lastly, how we miss "that something else" we had not been taught to trust as children growing up (our primal connection to our pelvic brain, our gateway to wholeness). Here are a few notes to help you in your own path of Inner DISCOVERY of these three brains and their constant flow of action in your daily life.

BRAIN ONE

is the brain in the head (this is where we consciously think. It is by nature exclusive and it excels at analysis, abstraction, known relationship, control, and systemization.)

BRAIN TWO

is the pelvic brain in the belly (this is where we can consciously be. It is by nature inclusive and
it excels at integration, felt relationship, harmony and Deep Presence).

BRAIN THREE
is the brain in the heart (this is where our wholeness meets the world's wholeness.)

All three brains are complementary and designed to work together. Unlike most cultures, our western culture has been committed to the strengths of the 1st brain (the one in the head) which has thrown our culture off balance, reinforcing the sense of isolation (a divided state) and making people incapable of moving into wholeness (which is their divine birthright).

WHAT limits our sensitivity to wholeness is always found in the body.

I am sharing an embodiment exercise below that can help you sustain an easy daily practice for experiencing a DEEP Sense of Stillness (as it moves the mental energy down to the pelvic floor and activates the 2nd brain every time we can do this). Enjoy and repeat and be amazed at the Super intelligence that rises from the belly into the now moment.

Namaste, Cezarina

cezarinatrone · Trickle Down Exercise

Collective Lotus Mudra with Children

https://www.miradorkidsyoga.com/blog/february-17th-2017

https://www.miradorkidsyoga.com/blog/february-17th-2017#comments

Uncategorized

Back in 2007 when I was a K-1 school teacher in Niger, West Africa...my early morning routine before I walked tothe school to teach...was a meditation of empowering mother Africa to shine forth. As the children came
to a cobra pose together on the classroom
carpet, I saw their hands connecting as a collective lotus mudra right on the African continent ( and this was not planned)...and yet what I witnessed next was miraculous:

We all became petals of this LOTUS of our collective heart and we took time
to breathe love into ourselves and then into all of Africa. Maya (one of my brilliant yogini friends) simply came in with her bottle of fairy dust and asked permission to mark our foreheads... then she gifted us special stones she had brought from her journey to Yellow Springs OH. In his book 'The Secret Spiritual World of Children', Dr. Tobin Hart reinforces that ..."children learn especially though their free play with the world...playing together brings out the inner seed, or soul. Play enables children to find and define themselves. Without sufficient free space, especially psychological space, it becomes difficult to play out our inner natures.
